From concerts and comedy nights to corporate banquets and red-carpet premieres, you’ll ensure every experience is unforgettable. Key duties & responsibilities: Work closely with the Front of House Manager to ensure a seamless, whole-of-venue experience for guests and hirers, discuss pre-event requirements, run sheets, production schedules and actions. Stay ahead of national and international beverage trends, ensuring the theatre’s bar experience remains relevant, exciting, and commercially strong. Partner with the Theatre Services Manager and in-house chefs to execute catering requirements. Partner with the Marketing team on signage, venue branding, and promotional materials to enhance the patron experience. Prepare and monitor budgets, process invoices, track expenditure, and ensure financial reporting accuracy. Support the Theatre Services Manager role as required. Support will include financial and administrative tasks as well as coordination of production schedules with incoming hirers. Collaborate with technical and operations teams to integrate hospitality timelines within overall production schedules. Drive profitability through efficient operations, smart purchasing, and strategic pricing. Conduct reviews to assess financial performance, guest feedback, and operational outcomes, driving continuous improvement. Manage stock, rosters, staff performance, and outlet readiness to ensure smooth operations and optimal customer service. What you will need to be considered: Ultimately we are looking for someone who lives and breathes theatre and live entertainment - someone who thrives in the energy of a production week, understands the rhythm of rehearsals, and knows what it takes to create seamless, memorable experiences for audiences and hirers alike. Previous Theatre experience (preferred). Experience working with hirers and production teams (preferred). Extensive bar management experience, including developing and delivering seasonal cocktail and drinks menus that reflect emerging trends and elevate the patron experience. Strong knowledge of business planning, event delivery, and customer care and pricing strategy development. Proven experience managing budgets, reporting, and financial processes. A strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to identify growth and efficiency opportunities. A proven track record of successful implementation of hospitality strategy and marketing/promotions. Strong post-event analysis capabilities and data-driven decision-making skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills and stakeholder management abilities. Immaculate personal presentation and strong communication skills. Current RSA Competency Card.
