Maintenance Plumber - Brisbane Children's Hospital Location: Brisbane Pay Rate: $70 per hour Start: 18th December 2026 - 8th January 2026 Role Type: Maintenance Plumber - Hospital Facility (Shift Coverage) About the Role Engineering Trades Australia are currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Plumber to join the facilities team at the Brisbane Children's Hospital . This position involves shift coverage across hospital operations, ensuring all plumbing systems are maintained to the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Undertake preventative and reactive maintenance on hospital plumbing systems. Maintain hot and cold-water services, sanitary drainage and trade waste systems. Respond to maintenance requests and urgent breakdowns promptly. Conduct testing of thermostatic mixing valves, backflow prevention devices and other safety systems. Maintain compliance records and ensure all works adhere to QLD Health and AS/NZS standards. Requirements Current QLD Plumbing & Drainage License Construction White Card Backflow Prevention & TMV endorsements (highly desirable) National Police Check (or ability to obtain) Vaccination evidence (Hep B, COVID, Flu) - hospital requirement Experience in commercial or hospital maintenance essential Strong focus on safety, hygiene, and communication Benefits $70 per hour Ongoing, secure role in a high-quality facility Excellent working conditions and support from a skilled maintenance team How do you apply?
