Excavator Operator Roster: Monday to Friday | 7.00am to 3.00pm with OT as required | 1-2 evening shifts | Saturdays: 7.00am to 11.00am Skills & experience Valid Drivers Licence (essential) Current Excavator Ticket (essential) Forklift Licence (desirable) Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team Competency in batch recording and interpreting labels and safety data sheets. Strong safety culture Possess good communication and problem-solving skills High developed communication skills (written and verbal) Demonstrated ability and willingness to be trained and acquire skills on various plant/machinery. Duties & responsibilities Pre-sort waste loads with excavator – extract waste and recyclable materials Decant, clean, store and dispose of waste in accordance with company requirements and procedures. Undertake daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment, such as Excavator. Operate both static and mobile plant and machinery related to the processing of waste. Undertake any other duties, accountabilities and responsibilities as directed Benefits Steady weekday hours, with early finishes.
