12 month contract with likely extension Upto $155 per hour inc Hybrid setup Aspirante is working with a Brisbane based organisation in the utilities space to assist in their search for an ICT Environments Manager . This position will lead the strategy, design, provisioning, and governance of complex test environments across multiple project delivery streams and combines hands-on technical expertise in infrastructure and automation with strong stakeholder engagement skills. You’ll work closely with project, delivery, and test managers to ensure environments are stable, secure, and aligned with testing schedules. You’ll also drive continuous improvement, governance, and cost efficiency across non-production environments. Key responsibilities Define and implement test environment management strategies across programs and projects. Oversee setup, configuration, and maintenance of SIT, UAT, and performance environments. Ensure all environments are stable, secure, and representative of production systems. Design and integrate non-production Active Directory domains to manage user roles and access. Automate provisioning workflows and implement role-based access controls. Collaborate with project and test managers to align environment provisioning with project timelines. Communicate environment status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders. Establish and enforce environment usage policies, data management standards, and audit compliance. Lead initiatives to optimise environment usage, reduce costs, and improve automation. Skills and experience required Demonstrated experience managing complex test environments in enterprise or multi-project settings. Strong technical knowledge of infrastructure (cloud/on-prem), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps automation tools. Experience integrating environments with Active Directory for user access management. Familiarity with ITIL and Agile/DevOps delivery principles. Experience with environment monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis. Background in IT/OT test environments or regulated industries (desirable). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
