About the Role This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Merchandise Planner or Senior Planner ready to take ownership and make a real impact. You’ll drive the merchandise strategy , optimise inventory performance , and play a pivotal role in delivering financial success across a premium retail brand. In this highly autonomous role, you’ll partner closely with Buying, Marketing, and Retail teams to ensure product strategies translate seamlessly from concept to store execution. You’ll be the strategic mind behind the numbers making data-backed decisions that drive sales, profitability, and growth. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of seasonal merchandise and product strategies . Own and manage the OTB to maximise sales and profitability. Drive inventory and markdown strategies to achieve financial targets. Partner with Buying and Marketing to ensure optimal product flow aligned with promotional and delivery plans. Deliver actionable insights through ongoing analysis of product, margin, and size performance. Identify and execute opportunities that enhance sell-through, stock turn, and margin performance . Work collaboratively across teams to deliver a unified commercial strategy and consistent customer experience. Maintain strong awareness of the customer, competitor landscape, and market trends to guide future planning. About You Degree qualified, with strong analytical and commercial acumen . Proven experience in merchandise or retail planning within an apparel or lifestyle business. Advanced Excel and planning system skills, with confidence presenting data-driven insights. A proactive problem-solver with a sharp eye for opportunity and risk. A confident communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the business.
