The company Our client located in Smithfield is a manufacturer of producing structural steel chassis. They are Australia’s largest owned and operated building solutions delivering across education, mining, government amenities and housing accommodations. They are currently looking for multiple qualified Boilermaker/Welder to work at their manufacturing site. What’s on offer Competitive hourly rate of $52/hr Plenty of overtime (almost daily) Every 2nd or 3rd Saturday work, 9-10 hours a day 6am – 3:30pm or 6am – 4pm Monday – Friday Responsibilities All MIG welding, working in the production area Measure, square and visualise designs Read and interpret design and engineered drawings Cut products to size and manufacture mild steel beams and create frames, roof frames Working with boilermakers and apprentices Working on various projects for housing, hospitals and construction and building solutions Essential requirement Trade qualification in Boilermaking/Fabrication Proven experience in welding and fabrication preferably on structural steel but not necessary Must be proficient with MIG and Mild Steel Can read and interpret design and engineered drawings Good work ethic and mechanically minded Willingness to commit long-term and grow in the business Need to bring own basic hand tools and PPE – hard hat, safety glasses and hivis Must conduct a pre-employment medical, D&A test and Chromium test If you believe you are the right fit for this opportunity, hit apply now!
