Job Description APM is continuing its impactful work with the Transition to Work contract, and we are now seeking an Industry Consultant who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people. As an Industry Consultant your role will be to engage with the youth, community and employers to attract education and employment opportunities for our Transition to Work participants. You will do this by establishing strong relationships within your local area. Working with our Youth Support Workers, you will be identifying suitable opportunities for Youth to engage in, such as education, employment, traineeships and apprenticeships. About the role Bring your strong networking skills to identify, build and strengthen relationships with local stakeholders. This will enable you to engage with and secure employment or education opportunities for participants. This role will be based at any APM site across the Sydney East Metro Region. Skills and experience Proven sales networking ability. A competitive and resilient outlook. Drive to exceed both personal and professional goals. Demonstrated relationship building, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, coupled with a passion and commitment to changing people’s lives, in particular youth.
