ConsultANZ is looking for an experienced Piling Superintendent – Foundations to support high-profile projects across the greater Wellington and Southern Region. About You Extensive experience in piling and foundation construction across complex projects Practical knowledge of modern piling methods and ground improvement techniques (marine piling, bored piling, driven piles, mini piling, CFA, DFA, anchoring) Skilled in managing teams, resources, and site documentation Collaborative leader who can mentor and develop high-performing crews Strong planning, organisational, and time management skills Key Responsibilities Lead multiple single-rig piling crews or large multi-rig projects across the region Ensure all activities meet project quality, safety, and engineering standards Manage foundations plant, labour resources, and temporary works installations Provide technical advice for project planning and execution Monitor progress, resolve issues, and drive project performance Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, engineers, and project teams Track project changes and support reporting on costs, quality, and productivity Requirements 10 years’ post-graduate experience in civil construction or engineering Proven background in piling, ground engineering, or foundations work Strong leadership experience with direct supervision of construction teams Commitment to Zero Harm, safety, and environmental excellence Adaptable and effective in dynamic, fast-paced environments What’s on Offer $160-170k base car, negotiable depending on experience.
