Under the the Northern Territory Mental Health and Related Services Act 1998 and Disability Services Act 1993 act ensure people receive quality care by visiting facilities and engaging with persons receiving mental health support or living with complex cognitive disabilities under Supervision Orders. You will write high level reports after each visit, demonstrate patient centred care, empathy and respect in all interactions with stakeholders and their families/carers who may contact the CVP. Your ability to quickly establish credibility and build respectful relationships with service providers and stakeholders, will support your advocacy efforts in achieving timely resolution of enquiries and complaints at the lowest level. There is a requirement for regular travel to Alice Springs. This is a part time vacancy available for 0.8 (29 hrs and 24 mins) per week.
