About the Role Our growing Environment, Planning, and Native Title team is dedicated to providing strategic legal advice to a diverse range of clients, including major corporations and government entities, across a wide range of sectors including energy, minerals and resources, industrial, infrastructure, telecommunications and real estate. This team has a strong market reputation, with its and busy and multifaceted practice encompassing: All aspects of land use planning and environmental law including environmental impact assessment, contaminated land, native title, aboriginal cultural heritage, compulsory acquisition, telecommunications, biodiversity, NGERS, climate change, FOI, administrative law (merits & judicial review) and incident response; and Projects, transactional, disputes and advisory matters. In this role, you will work closely with Partners Mark Beaufoy and Emily Heffernan . You will be involved in complex and often high-profile matters, addressing a wide array of environmental and planning legal challenges. What Experience Are We Looking For? We are looking for candidates with ideally 3 to 6 years of post admission experience (3-6 PAE) in environmental and planning law, ideally gained in a similar environment, and who thrive in a busy and collaborative team environmental. We are particularly interested in candidates with: Excellent analytical, communication and drafting skills - to contribute to the delivery of prompt and commercially astute advice; A willingness to be challenged, and think creatively and laterally; A commitment to exceptional client service and the ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships, playing a key role in enhancing our client partnerships. A team-oriented mindset, fostering effective collaboration by building strong internal relationships. Enthusiasm for business development activities, including participating in practice development initiatives and establishing strategic networks. As a Senior Solicitor or Senior Associate within our team, you will be expected to contribute to the growth of the practice and actively engage in both internal and external client and industry initiatives. You will assist in mentoring and supervising junior staff, help allocate resources effectively and support training and development.
