We’re looking for a motivated and skilled Baker to join our friendly and hardworking team. About the Role As a Baker at Bakers Delight Eltham, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods from scratch, following Bakers Delight’s trusted recipes and standards. You’ll work early mornings and be part of a close-knit team committed to excellence and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Mixing, shaping, and baking a wide range of bread and pastry products Monitoring oven temperatures and baking times Following food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety standards Maintaining a clean and organised workspace Assisting in training and mentoring junior staff or apprentices Ensuring consistency and quality across all products Requirements We’re looking for someone who has: A Certificate III in Retail Baking (Bread, Combined or Cake & Pastry) or equivalent qualification Minimum 2–3 years of baking experience (preferably in a commercial or retail bakery) Strong understanding of dough fermentation, mixing, and baking processes The ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent time management and attention to detail A passion for baking and delivering high-quality products Benefits Competitive pay Supportive and positive team environment Opportunities for career growth and ongoing training Staff discounts on all delicious Bakers Delight product If you're a passionate and experienced Baker looking to join a friendly and skilled team, we want to hear from you!
