About the Role… As a Workforce Australia Employment Consultant at APM , you will play a pivotal role in supporting our participants (job seekers) to transform their lives. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will work closely with stakeholders, including employers and our participants, to deliver tailored employment solutions. Location : Caboolture, Qld Key Responsibilities: Build strong, trust-based relationships with job seekers to understand their goals, barriers, and aspirations, and develop tailored Job Plans that guide them toward sustainable employment. Conduct regular face-to-face appointments to monitor progress, provide motivation, and connect participants with relevant training, short courses, and employment preparation support. Proactively engage employers through active cold calling and networking to uncover hidden job opportunities, promote candidate strengths, and negotiate placements, trials, or wage subsidies. Collaborate with internal teams to match job seekers with suitable vacancies, ensuring a smooth transition into employment and celebrating milestones to build confidence. Deliver quality service whilst adhering to all contractual and compliance requirements. Maintain accurate records, manage compliance and reporting requirements, and process claims for employment outcomes in line with program guidelines and audit standards. People who are motivated to go above and beyond for their participants, have excellent communication skills and can demonstrate composure and adaptability through the day-to-day challenges of the role.
