In this role you are going to help our eCommerce clients around an area of Victoria thrive as their businesses grow. In this role, working from our Burnley office and on the road meeting our customers face to face, you will be a key trusted advisor to medium sized businesses as they use Australia Post as their parcel delivery provider. With B2B, B2C and international freight solutions at your fingertips and the largest and best reach of any network in Australia, you are a key enabler for leading Australian eCommerce businesses to get their products to their customers. About the opportunity This is a role like no other for a customer focused, keen and sales-oriented individual with an understanding of the last mile freight industry, if you really like understanding your clients deeply and helping them achieve their business goals as a trusted advisor then this is the job for you. You will work with a portfolio of companies with both B2B and B2C freight and selling both AP and ST solutions, growing revenue and developing new business in a highly competitive and highly rewarding industry. What you’ll deliver with us Through delighting our eCommerce customers with excellent account management, and new business development, helping us win in the right way, you will help Australia Post achieve our ambitious growth targets. You’ll • Manage existing accounts to increase share of wallet and opportunities to sell additional freight services. • Present and conduct joint business reviews with c-suite leaders of your client businesses. • Analyse the accounts in the portfolio to identify risks and opportunities for growth. • Call and meet with customers and develop long term, trusted relationships. Deeply understanding their business and building their trust for open communication when problems arise. • Develop new business across this portfolio, riding the momentum we’ve seen in new business activity across this sector to exceed targets. About you You’ll have sales or customer centric experience and a credibility with customers face to face, you’ll have a curious and winning mindset and the ability to build deep and lasting relationships with your clients. You’ll thrive on challenges and have a positive growth mindset that has demonstrated itself in succeeding in prior roles. You will have a sales background, in our competitive freight industry and have a customer focused viewpoint, a commercial mindset, a growth attitude and an ability to get up to speed with a portfolio and new customers quickly.
