Role details The Social Work Department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Social Worker to join their team on a temporary basis. About the Team The Social Work Department forms part of the Allied Health and Clinical Support Service Stream delivering a range of high-quality psychosocial services to consumers whose medical care and treatment is being provided through the Service Streams of: Lifespan and Critical Care; and Perioperative, Women's Health and Ambulatory Care; as well as to their families and caregivers. About our Hospital and Health Service Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff.
