As a key member of the Sanderson High School Leadership and Management Team, the Senior Teacher â English and Humanities, Intensive English, ESL and Languages / Year 8 Wellbeing provides curriculum leadership across English, Humanities, Intensive English, ESL, and Languages learning areas, alongside wellbeing and pastoral care support for Year 8 teachers and students. This role ensures the effective design, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of learning programs while supporting staff and students to achieve positive educational and wellbeing outcomes. Responsibilities include whole-school leadership of the English, Humanities, Intensive English, ESL, and Languages Learning Teams, oversight and coordination of Year 8 programs and student wellbeing, as well as contributing to whole-school events and initiatives.
