Sub - Contracting Position – Experience with Children and Adolescents We are seeking an experienced Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our warm and supportive team for one or two days a week. The Psychology and Therapy clinic rooms are based in Sydenham with onsite parking and with its own amenities and located within a 5-minute drive to the Watergardens shopping centre. The private room is welcoming and inviting with warm tones and comfy couches. The kind of person we are looking for is warm and engaging and likes to work independently with a supportive team. Providing parental support Embrace best ethical practices to achieve good outcomes for the children and parents we support Typical client presentations are (to name a few) depression, anxiety, struggles with school, relationship issues, family difficulties, adjustment and work issues, grief and loss, body image and disordered eating issues, behaviour issues. Eligibility and requirements: Experience in conducting therapy with children or adolescents A higher degree (i.e. Masters, Ph.D., or D.Psych) in Clinical Psychology or Psychology Current AHPRA registration as a Clinical Psychologist or Psychologist Well-developed clinical skills in Psychology assessment, diagnosis and intervention Medicare Provider Number Professional Indemnity Insurance Proven experience with children and adolescents is required A Working with Children Check is mandatory Clinical Registrars looking for Endorsement are encouraged to apply.
