Job Description: • Excellent benefits including salary packaging • Challenging and rewarding work environment • 12 month part time (0.4 FTE), fixed term position until 31/10/2026 About the Role The research nurse will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the sarcoma database. The research nurse will also be responsible for recruiting and follow-up of eligible study patients. The research nurse will be required to: - Explain to the patients and their family/carer the nature of the staudy and requirements for sollow up - Develop a rapport with the patient and their family/carer to promote communication - Ensure patients understanding of the protocol is adequate prior to obtaining consent - Complete study forms and ensure all data is recorded correctly - Ensure patient's participation in studies is documented in patient's medical record - Obtain status reports on patients during study period - Update the database and keep data and records up-to-date Classifications for this position is YU13 ($110,614.40 per annum pro rata).
