HammondCare Braeside Hospital offers rehab, palliative care and older persons mental health services. We're searching for someone to volunteer their time to make everyone’s day by pushing a trolley with all kinds of sweet treats and drinks around. You’ll bring joy to each person every time you enter the room. Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people receiving care at Braeside Hospital. Requirements DAY ROLE Monday, Wednesday or Sunday 12pm-1pm, or an AFTERNOON ROLE Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday 4-5pm. Applicants must be aged 18 years and over, HammondCare will organise and pay for a national police check. You will be required to meet NSW Dept of Health Immunisation standards for the category of this role (including HepB, Measles mumps and rubella, Tetanus, influenza or be willing to discuss meeting the requirements).
