Role Description This is an on-site role located in Gladstone, QLD, for an Allied Health Assistant. The Allied Health Assistant will support the team of Allied Health professionals by assisting with the implementation of treatment plans, helping customers with daily living activities, organising and maintaining therapy equipment, and documenting progress. They will work closely with customers and or their family to promote well-being and improve their quality of life. Depending on experience and qualifications, you may be required to work within our head office, people's homes, education settings, and our farm site. About You You love working with animals, children, adults and team members You are honest, trustworthy and reliable Be available after school hours Compassionate, patient, and attentive to customer needs Qualifications Minimum, you have completed or are working towards a Cert 4 in Allied Health Assistance (or similar) Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication Skills Excellent Organisation Skills Driver's license Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or disability concerns is a plus Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Basic computer skills for documentation and administrative tasks Be willing to complete, or already have completed, First Aid and CPR, NDIS worker screenings and application for appropriate clearances. You will be fully supported by a multi-disciplinary team (Social Workers, Behaviour Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, etc), have paid birthday leave and access to the Yaralla Lifestyle initiative.
