About the role : Design & Technology Technician Employment Type: Casual/Relief Start Date: Flexible For a full job description, please click here South Coast Baptist College is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Design & Technology Technician to join a collaborative team of Technologies teachers and support staff, playing a vital role in enhancing and supporting students’ learning experiences. Position Requirements: Assist teachers in classrooms and workshops Maintenance of machinery, equipment and resources Ensuring a safe working and learning environment Undertaking acquistition, sortage and replenishment of supplies and equipment Maintaining clean workshops, storerooms and finishing rooms Undertaking projects as part of an ongoing program of facilities development Undertaking tasks related to the promotion of the college and the design and technology area Selection Criteria: 1. Possess the technical knowledge and expertise relevant to the position. 2. High level practical and problem-solving skills. 3. High regard for maintaining a safe working environment for both teachers and students. 4. A willingness to go the extra mile to achieve excellence in service. Essential Criteria: A personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ. Active participation in a church or Christian community, exemplifying Christian beliefs, behaviour, and practices. Acceptance of the College’s Statement of Faith. Ability to build cooperative and supportive relationships with the Board, Principal, staff, students, and parents.
