The Opportunity: Tamworth Hospital is seeking SRMOs to join its busy Emergency Department on a locum basis. This role is ideal for junior doctors wanting to strengthen their emergency skills, gain hands-on experience across a broad case mix, and enjoy the flexibility of locum work in a supportive, teaching-focused hospital. Clinical Environment: Acute exposure – manage a wide range of ED presentations, from minor injuries to high-acuity cases Procedural skills – opportunity to gain confidence in resus, trauma, and acute care procedures Maximise income – competitive locum rates up to $200/hr Supportive environment – senior registrar and FACEM support in a collaborative team Balanced experience – ED roster offering variety and strong training exposure Eligibility Criteria: AHPRA General Registration PGY3 with prior ED/acute care experience desirable NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check Australian working rights Willingness to complete local credentialing and onboarding What’s Provided: Up to $200/hour Travel and accommodation included Flexible ad-hoc shifts available Full credentialing and logistics support from our dedicated team Location – Tamworth Hospital (Hunter New England LHD): Tamworth is one of NSW’s largest regional centres, offering excellent lifestyle perks with a mix of city amenities and country hospitality.
