What You'll Do: Weld structural connections between precast concrete and building frameworks. Fit and secure plates using impact drivers and bolts. Modify plates with oxy-acetylene tools or die-grinders. Prepare surfaces by grinding galvanised plates. Weld clips, angles, and brackets as per engineering drawings. Conduct quality inspections of welds. Read and interpret structural drawings. Operate elevated work platforms (scissor/boom lifts). Skills & Certifications: Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent. Current Welding Certification. White Card & Yellow Card for lifts. EWP WP License (over 11m). Working at Heights certification. Valid Driver’s Licence.
