Are you a passionate and experienced Quality & Education professional looking for your next short-term challenge in aged care? We are currently seeking a skilled Quality & Education Manager to join a well-established, medium-sized residential aged care home on a 6-month contract basis. About the Role: This single-site leadership role focuses on mentoring, coaching, and upskilling two Quality & Education Coordinators to ensure consistent, high-quality care and compliance standards across the home. You’ll work closely with the Facility Manager and take responsibility for the ongoing development and delivery of quality and education initiatives. While you’ll oversee the broader quality and education functions, this is not a compliance-heavy role. You will not be required to write responses to the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission. Instead, your focus will be on strengthening internal capability and embedding best practices through education and hands-on support. Key Responsibilities: Coach and mentor two on-site Quality & Education Coordinators to build internal capability. Lead quality and education initiatives across the home with the support of your team. Identify areas for improvement and support continuous quality improvement. Deliver and support staff education programs. Ensure the home meets internal and regulatory quality standards. Collaborate with the Facility Manager to align training with organisational goals. About You: Clinical background (AHPRA Registered Nurse) with experience in aged care. Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards. Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop others in a residential aged care setting. Excellent communication, mentoring, and training skills.
