We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Care Manager on behalf of one of our valued aged care clients in Newcastle. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role within a residential aged care setting, where you’ll guide a dedicated care team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care. About the Role As Clinical Care Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the overall clinical operations of the home. You’ll lead and mentor a team of Registered Nurses, Clinical Coordinators, and Personal Care Workers to ensure residents receive care that reflects their individual needs, preferences, and life experiences. Key responsibilities include: Providing clinical leadership and oversight across the care team. Ensuring compliance with aged care standards, policies, and procedures. Supporting care planning, documentation, and AN-ACC funding processes. Driving continuous improvement initiatives and quality outcomes. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders including regulatory bodies. Promoting a culture of respect, safety, and wellbeing for residents and staff. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse. Proven experience in a clinical leadership role within aged care. Strong understanding of aged care legislation, AN-ACC funding, and accreditation standards. Excellent communication, mentoring, and team-building skills. Proficiency in IT systems and clinical documentation. A commitment to continuous improvement and resident wellbeing. A current National Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain).
