About the Role: We're looking for someone to join our commercial team in a full-time role, Reporting to the Commercial Estimating Manager, this is a great opportunity to start a career in internal sales and estimating. Key Responsibilities: Carry out general administrative tasks within the sales office Coordinate and organise product deliveries to site Assist customers with product selection and provide technical advice across our extensive commercial product range Support quoting and estimating activities, and respond to phone and website enquiries Provide support and backup to our sales staff and sales engineers, both locally and nationally Process customer transactions and accurately enter orders into the system Maintain strong relationships with existing account customers Develop new relationships with prospective customers Liaise effectively with internal departments, including accounts, production, and despatch Assist in maintaining accurate project pipelines and tracking opportunities through various sales stages Support the team in meeting sales targets and managing critical deadlines Monitor and follow up on outstanding quotes and proposals Help identify process improvements and contribute to a positive team environment Participate in sales meetings and provide input on customer trends or feedback Who you are: You have previous experience in a sales role, with HVAC industry experience highly regarded. You're confident interacting with customers in person, over the phone, and via email, and you?re committed to providing excellent customer service. You're good with computers and can enter information quickly and accurately. You present yourself professionally and communicate clearly. Strong time management skills and attention to detail come naturally to you. You're enthusiastic, goal-oriented, and keen to take on new challenges. You work well as part of a team and enjoy contributing to a supportive, collaborative environment. You're looking to grow within the business, with a long-term goal of moving into a Sales Engineer role. A graduate in Engineering or HVAC-related certifications would be an advantage. Knowledge of air conditioning system design and operation is desirable, though not essential. A Mechanical Services trade background, combined with sales and estimating experience would be a strong advantage.
