12/06/2024 WA | FACCI Events & Partnership Assistant - Perth (Jan to July 2026) The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce is looking for its new Events & Partnership Assistant in the Western Australia Chapter. Offer and profile description As the Events & Partnership Assistant, you will be assisting the Head of Chapter with the day-to-day operations of the office, membership management, events management, communications, services to the members, engagement with stakeholders, membership management and support to the President and the Councillors in their role. About the role • Assist & deliver the WA Calendar of events to the highest standard, from early planning, through promotion and delivery to follow-up. • Liaise with speakers, sponsors, venue coordinators, suppliers, organisational partners. • Assist & manage events bookings, payments and ticketing (using mostly online systems). • Assist & liaise with the National Communication team to communicate around events. • Assist in the processing of new members. • Assist in the membership renewal process. • Assist & engage with members on a regular basis and follow up on all members’ requests. • Assist & manage membership renewals and data entry into FACCI’s CRM system. • Identification of leads and active promotion of membership. • Assist & provide support to the Western Australia Chapter Council. • Prepare Chapter Council meeting. • Manage records in CRM. • Act as the "front line" contact for all enquiries. Profile Essential skills: • Fluent French • Very high level of written and spoken English • Relevant studies background (tertiary level), ideally a business school • Excellent computer literacy • Excellent self-presentation and professional conduct • Autonomy, initiative, ability to multitask • Eye for details Desirable skills: • Skills in Project Management • Experience in relevant field (Events management, Marketing and Communications) will be highly regarded • Experience with online platform such as Glue Up or SurveyMonkey, designing software (Publisher) and social media tools will be highly regarded • Experience using a CRM • Strong customer service skills • Comfortable interacting with business executives and senior officials Before applying, please make sure to meet the following requirements: • Already be located in Australia or ready to move • Right to work in Australia (WHV accepted) • ‘Convention de stage’ or learning agreement for internship with your university or college accepted • Make sure the internship role is relevant to your studies • Have enough money to live in Perth for 6 months, as the internship allowance doesn’t cover the cost of living • Fluent in English (daily phone conversations, emails) Job type and duration • Events & Partnership Assistant • 6 months • Start: January 2026 • Full-time Any enquiries can be directed to: facci.com.au Spoken language(s) English, French Level of experience required 0-2 years Advantages You will gain invaluable experience within an international, young and dynamic organisation.
