We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, and experienced, Senior Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant to join our growing team. What We Offer Full-time or part-time (minimum 25 hours/week) – flexible and family-friendly hours A healthy work/life balance in a progressive and friendly environment Flexible working arrangements available Free on-site parking Close-knit, collaborative, and supportive work culture A growing firm with excellent opportunities for career growth and advancement Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly and quarterly IAS/BAS Process payroll including superannuation and payroll account reconciliations Maintain accurate coding of transactions in Xero and MYOB Perform bank account and end of month reconciliations Manage accounts payable and receivable Set up and support clients with new Xero files and add-on apps Ensure accurate financial records across a portfolio of clients Assist with financial statements and income tax returns Provide general office administration support Assist with business systems and app solutions for clients What You'll Bring Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping (or higher) Registered BAS Agent preferred (not essential) 3 years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting in Australia Experience with Xero and MYOB (Xero certification highly regarded) Proficiency with Hubdoc, Outlook, Excel Experience with other add-on apps (not essential, but highly regarded) High attention to detail and strong organisational skills Positive, proactive attitude and a collaborative mindset Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development An attractive salary commensurate with experience will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
