This is a hands-on leadership role focused on service excellence, team development and commercial performance. The venue operates within a seasonal resort environment, balancing peak-period trade with quieter months for training, refinement and operational improvement. Key responsibilities include: Leading day-to-day restaurant operations to deliver seamless service Recruiting, training, rostering and mentoring FOH team members Driving exceptional guest experiences and managing feedback Managing stock, suppliers, budgets and cost controls Supporting menu execution and contributing ideas to enhance the offering Ensuring compliance with food safety, licensing and WHS requirements Working collaboratively with the General Manager and Head Chef About You You’re an experienced Restaurant or Venue Manager who leads from the floor and takes pride in delivering great service. You’re organised, people-focused and comfortable managing both performance and guest experience in a seasonal operation. You will bring: Proven experience in restaurant or venue management Strong leadership and communication skills A hands-on approach to service and guest engagement Knowledge of food safety and compliance requirements Experience with POS and reservation systems (H&L / Now Book It preferred) Resilience and adaptability to remote living About Wilpena Pound Resort Wilpena Pound Resort is the gateway to the Ikara–Flinders Ranges National Park, located approximately 430km north of Adelaide.
