Position: Chef Location: 36 Tuffy Ave, Sans Souci Salary: $77,000 per annum (plus superannuation) Employment Type: Full-time Duties and Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and execute a high standard of café-style and modern Australian dishes. Design and update menus in line with seasonal produce and customer preferences. Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Manage stock control, order supplies, and minimise food wastage. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and OH&S standards at all times. Collaborate with management to maintain consistency in food quality and service. Monitor portion control and presentation to meet the café’s standards. Work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail. About You Trade qualifications in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent). 1–2 years of experience as a Chef in a café or restaurant environment . Strong leadership, communication, and people skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines. A passion for hospitality, creativity with food, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
