About the work unit / facility: The Burdekin Community Mental Health Service is a multidisciplinary Community Mental Health team that provides a range of community based, acute mental health services across the lifespan including adults, children and young people, older people, people who come in contact with the criminal justice system, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. The service is host to a multi-disciplinary Community Mental Health team based at Ayr Hospital, which utilises a case-management model as a method of improving community based mental health. All employees of the Mental Health Service Group may be required to work in other areas of the Service. Requirements: Mandatory qualifications (Occupational Therapy or Psychology or Social Work) and proof of registration (if applicable) Possession of class C drivers' licence.
