HMR is a national contractor providing underground and surface DRILLING, MINING and RAISEBORING services to clients across Australia. We are currently seeking experienced Jumbo Operators to join our team for immediate start. Role Summary As a Jumbo Operator at HMR, you will play a critical role in the safe and efficient operation of underground drilling machinery. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Jumbo rigs to ensure drilling tasks are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule. All aspects of development mining, including incline/decline Installing and maintaining underground services Supporting charge-up and other development tasks Communicating across shifts and ensuring high-quality work Extensive experience in an underground mining environment Requirements / Qualifications Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency Ability to meet pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening Police clearance (within 6 months) Manual Driver’s Licence (required for underground roles) First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain) Why Join HMR?
