Lead the enterprise-wide strategy for risk and compliance by shaping, implementing, and continuously enhancing robust frameworks and assurance programs. This pivotal role provides both strategic direction and operational oversight to ensure risks are proactively identified, assessed, and managed in alignment with the organisation’s risk appetite and regulatory obligations. Your responsibilities will include: Leading the development and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide risk and compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures. Designing and delivering risk training programs and capability uplift initiatives to foster a strong risk culture across the organisation. Overseeing assurance activities including control testing, vendor risk assessments, and follow-up of remediation actions. Coordinating and preparing risk and compliance reporting for the Board and Executive Committee. Supporting and enhancing the GRC system to ensure data integrity, system functionality, and user engagement. Driving strategic initiatives such as the Risk Maturity Assessment and Risk Culture Action Plan, in collaboration with People & Culture and business leaders. Providing leadership and coaching to the Frameworks and Assurance team, ensuring tools and methodologies are fit-for-purpose and aligned with industry standards. Your Skills and Experience: Proven experience in a senior risk, compliance, or assurance role, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment. Strong understanding of enterprise risk management, compliance frameworks, assurance practices, and third-party risk. Demonstrated capability in policy writing and reporting. Experience with GRC systems and data-driven risk reporting. Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
