About the role Ripley Specialised Inpatient Services is a state-of-the-art facility that will deliver 90 additional beds in West Moreton as part of Queensland Health's Accelerated Infrastructure Delivery Program. The role will work across this three-storey facility located on Botany Drive, South Ripley which is co-located with the current Satellite Health Centre along with our other West Moreton Health facilities. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following: Contemporary knowledge and skills in the provision of Speech Pathology services for adults with a variety of swallowing and communication impairments. Excellent communication skills with clients, service providers and co-workers at all levels that enable the development of improved service delivery outcomes and effective relationships. Ability to initiate, plan, implement, and evaluate local service improvement and/or research initiatives. Proactive approach to own continuous learning / networking and shares information with the team to promote a learning environment. Effectively prioritises and manages own time to meet and exceed patient/client expectations, with an enthusiastic, calm and flexible approach.
