About your opportunity As a Senior Medical Officer with advanced skills in Anaesthetics or Obstetrics, you will provide expert clinical services, lead multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to teaching and research. This role supports rural generalist practice and offers scope for outreach and community engagement across the Townsville HHS region. Requirements Qualified as a medical practitioner with current registration or eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Fellowship of FACRRM or FRACGP is highly desirable. Advanced skills training in Anaesthetics or Obstetrics, with relevant accreditation (e.g. JCCA, DRANZCOG). Awarded Scope of Clinical Practice (SoCP) by THHS Credentialing Committee. Evidence of vaccination against VPDs as per Queensland Health Policy. Current Class C motor vehicle licence. A probationary period may apply.
