About the work unit / facility The Psychotherapy Specialist Clinic (PSC) is part of the Mental Health Service Group (MHSG) at Townsville Hospital. The PSC provides psychodynamic psychotherapy services to adults experiencing psychological distress related to life experiences. Competitive salary and benefits Salary between $64.64 - $72.58 per hour (HP4 / Nurse Grade 7). 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading. About your opportunity As Psychotherapy Coordinator, you will lead and deliver psychodynamic psychotherapy services through the PSC. You will manage a caseload, provide supervision and education, and contribute to service development. This role suits experienced clinicians with a passion for psychodynamic therapy and mental health service innovation. Requirements Relevant tertiary qualifications and registration with AHPRA or professional association (Psychology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Social Work). Experience in psychodynamic psychotherapy and mental health service delivery. Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) under the Mental Health Act 2016. Credentialing or eligibility to supervise RANZCP trainees is highly desirable. Evidence of vaccination against VPDs and TB screening as per Queensland Health policy. Current Class C driver's licence.
