About the role Clinical Equipment Loans Service Townsville (CELS-TSV) is responsible for helping to ensure the efficient and equitable management of high volume/non-specialised health technology assets across the Townsville University Hospital campus. CELS-TSV is a 24-hour service with the Clinical Equipment Loans Officer responsible for service provision overnight (22:00 - 07:45). About the unit COaST centralises several different services that specialise in management of clinical equipment and consumables and optimisation of skin integrity. Our dedicated team ensures our clients receive the highest quality supplies and support, tailored to meet the specific needs of clinical operations. We are committed to enhancing patient care and operational efficiency through our comprehensive solutions and expert guidance. COaST core activities include managing a targeted range of clinical equipment and consumables items via the Clinical Equipment Loans Service (CELS), Home Medical Aids (HMA) service, pressure injury prevention and management service, wound management service and targeted clinical consumables management.
