About the work unit / facility The Renal Satellite Unit in Charters Towers is a four-chair dialysis facility operating six days a week. It provides high-quality renal replacement therapy and outreach services to patients in the region. Competitive salary and benefits Salary between $54.44 - $58.30 per hour (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1). 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading. About your opportunity As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care, education, and support to patients and staff within the Renal Satellite Unit. You will work autonomously, lead clinical decision-making, and contribute to quality patient outcomes. This role includes mentoring, portfolio leadership, and participation in outreach services. Requirements Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification. Current registration with AHPRA and practising certificate. Evidence of vaccination against VPDs and TB screening. Declaration of serious discipline action (if applicable). Criminal history check may be required. Highly desirable: Postgraduate qualification and Adult Life Support certificate.
