The Role An opportunity has become available for several Clinical Records Officers to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia. You will Manage clinical records import, scanning, and quality checks Deliver and collect records across GCHHS facilities securely Provide expert support for ieMR system users and data retrieval Administer information release per legislation and policy About you To be successful in this position you will require: Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Shifts/Locations Shifts are Monday - Friday and weekends when required Shifts times are 6:00 am - 2:30 pm and 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm This position is primarily based at Gold Coast University Hospital, with occasional shifts at Robina Hospital as required Benefits Flexible work options Career Development Salary Packaging Modern Facilities Diverse Work Culture Research Opportunities 12.75% super 17.5% leave loading Salary Casual (several positions) Base salary ranging from $48.51 - $53.95 per hour About Us The Digital Transformation and Research (DTR) division has been established to drive significant service improvements and digital transformation initiatives, aligned with the strategic objectives outlined in the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Services Strategic Plan 2028 (G28). DTR is responsible for enhancing efficiency and service delivery optimising Health Service performance. Additionally, it oversees strategic partnerships that support the implementation of alternative models of service delivery, ensuring value for money, while driving improvements in performance and innovation across the organisation. Health Information is part of Digital and Information stream of the division. The service provides: Health Information Optimisation including Activity Based Funding (ABF), quality improvement and service efficiencies.
