What you'll do Provide advice and assistance to Line Managers and staff of the PQ - SCUH Group laboratories to develop, review and maintain policies and procedures that: comply with regulatory and legislative requirements. integrate with each other to provide a consistent end to end service for Pathology Queensland clients. drive best practice and continual improvement. Assist with the implementation and continual improvement of the internal audit process, including compliance audits, and ensure that identified improvements provide value to both the PQ - SCUH Group laboratories and their clients. Support PQ - SCUH Group laboratory staff to understand and address accreditation requirements including NATA, TGA, ISO 9001 and ASHI. Support the implementation and maintenance of a PQ Quality Management System performance measurement framework including: Data extraction and analysis Report preparation, for submission to local PQ Management teams, on organisational performance against Quality Management performance measurements. About you We are searching for someone who has: Demonstrated ability to analyse, design and document efficient integrated end-to-end business processes. Demonstrated audit experience including ability to co-ordinate, perform, report and respond to complex regulatory compliance audits across all PQ disciplines. High level knowledge of and experience in providing management advice with respect to, standards (NATA/NPAAC, TGA, IOS 9001), QIS and the Quality Management Framework. Well-developed interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills including report preparation, the ability to negotiate, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to develop collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders and team members and ability to effectively communicate and influence The successful applicant must hold a Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science) degree or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of five years' work experience in a pathology laboratory as a medical scientist or equivalent role.
