Demonstrated ability to apply high-level scientific judgement to perform, interpret and report laboratory analyses in Cytogenetics and/or Genomics. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member, to produce an effective work output in terms of quality and quantity, and to communicate effectively. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships with clients and colleagues. Demonstrated ability to assist with the performance and operation of one or more work groups. Demonstrated contributions to the quality of clinical practice within Cytogenetics and/or Genomics, through compliance with organisational policies and procedures and maintenance of relevant legislative, administrative, and professional standards, including NATA / ISO / TGA accreditation / certification requirements. Qualifications, registrations and other requirements The successful applicant must hold at least a relevant tertiary degree qualification (or equivalent) applicable to Medical Laboratory Science. Appointment to this position requires proof of qualifications. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
