Your new role: As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients within the Spinal Injuries Unit at Princess Alexandra Hospital. You'll provide leadership, clinical expertise, and support to a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. Deliver advanced Occupational Therapy assessment, intervention, and evaluation for spinal injury patients within a multidisciplinary team. Lead quality improvement, research, and clinical education initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient care. Supervise, mentor, and support HP3 clinicians, students, and Allied Health Assistants. Contribute to service development and innovation within a dynamic, state-wide spinal rehabilitation service. About you: You are an experienced Occupational Therapist with a strong clinical foundation, leadership skills, and a passion for advancing rehabilitation care for people with spinal cord injuries. Demonstrated expertise in providing complex Occupational Therapy services and managing patient care in a specialised clinical environment. Highly developed communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to lead, collaborate, and engage effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Proven ability to provide supervision, training, and professional guidance to junior staff and students.
