About your opportunity: This position provides a wonderful opportunity to lead the Healthcare Standards function of the Clinical Governance Directorate by directing and coordinating best-practice safety and quality systems for the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (Townsville HHS). Lead an assurance program for the implementation and ongoing monitoring of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards to ensure readiness for Short Notice Assessment. Collaborate with members of the Townsville HHS Executive Management Team, Senior Management Team and others to achieve strategic objectives relating to improved healthcare standards. Requirements: Mandatory qualification (Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent) and registration with AHPRA. Possession of class C drivers' licence. This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role.
