This Specialist Consultant (Urology) role, known in Queensland Health as a Staff Specialist/Senior Staff Specialist (Urology), will focus on urological surgical oncology, with strong support for subspecialty development in endo-urology. As a Staff Specialist/Senior Staff Specialist (Urology), you will be responsible for providing high quality Urology care for our community, with a focus on leading safe care, driving quality improvement and innovation, and collaboratively contributing to department growth and development within a multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will: Perform elective and emergency urological procedures Access the da Vinci robotic surgical system on a regular basis Collaborate with co-located private hospitals equipped with robotic platforms Access to advanced robotic surgical platforms in public and private settings Be supported in developing areas such as: Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP) Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL) Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service is a values-based organisation.
