We're excited to welcome a Nursing Service Director to lead our Surgery and Critical Care Directorate. The Nursing Service Director demonstrates advanced clinical and corporate governance. This incorporates management, leadership and change management expertise, experience and aptitude to optimise nursing practice and services. The Nursing Service Director is the operational and professional nursing lead for the Surgery and Critical Care Directorate, inclusive of:  Orthopaedics, Plastics and Reconstructive, Urology, Vascular, Maxillo-facial, Persistent Pain, Anaesthetics, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Thoracic, Trauma, ENT  Nursing workforce  Operating Theatres and Perioperative Services  Surgical Inpatient Units  Intensive Care and Paediatric Critical Care Unit  Surgical Outpatients The Nursing Service Director is accountable for the efficient and effective use of human and material resources across the HHS within a dynamic health environment, based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia - Registered Nurse Standards of Practice. This role works in collaboration with the Nursing and Midwifery Leadership Team to drive professional and workforce issues. Remuneration value up to $219 034 p.a., comprising salary of $191 973 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 12).
