Your new role: The Fellowship is designed for a General Surgeon who has just completed training requirements for Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS), or their equivalent, and is seeking to develop more specialised expertise. The position will contribute to the function of the Liver and Renal Transplant Unit as well as playing a key role in managing the clinical care and management of patients in need of fistula revision and vascular access. About you: Actively participate in the renal and liver transplant teams, progressively acquiring capability in organ retrieval surgery including donation after brain death and donation after circulatory death operations, renal transplantation and liver transplantation. Participate in simple and complex vascular access for dialysis and the management of fistula revision. Ensure patients and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds.
