Your new role: As Director - Health Information Management Services (HIMS) at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, you'll ensure the delivery of efficient, compliant and innovative information management services that align with the goals of Metro South Health. Key Responsibilities include:  Lead and manage the operational performance of all HIMS functions at Princess Alexandra Hospital.  Oversee key areas including Clinical Coding, Information Access, Medical Records, Scanning and Health Informatics.  Monitor and enhance service delivery, efficiency and data quality outcomes.  Partner with clinicians and leadership to support digital hospital initiatives and data-driven decision-making.  Manage departmental budgets and resources, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.  Provide expert advice on health information management, data governance, privacy and compliance. About you: You're a strategic health information leader with strong technical and people management expertise. You understand the power of accurate, secure and timely health information in improving patient outcomes , and you can translate that understanding into operational excellence and digital innovation. Your Skills & Experience:  Demonstrated experience leading large teams in health information management within a complex healthcare environment.  Advanced knowledge of digital health systems, data privacy and medico-legal information management.  Proven ability to manage budgets, resources and projects effectively. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.
