About our Opportunity We are seeking a driven Account Manager to join our team at the Stapylton Glass Plant, servicing Brisbane and Gold Coast area. In this role, you will maximise sales potential by prospecting new customers and maintaining strong relationships with our established customer portfolio. You will be predominantly on the road, strategically canvassing new business opportunities, meeting existing clients, promoting our products, and providing exceptional service. You will plan, organise, and execute selling activities to exceed your sales targets and contribute to sustainable, profitable growth. In addition, you’ll: Achieve growth and exceed sales targets, including revenue, channel mix, product mix, and margin. Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with customers and understanding their needs. Identify emerging markets and market shifts. Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to management. Manage contacts and activities through Sales Databases, preparing regular selling activity reports. Attend out-of-hours industry events such as Trade Shows, Awards Ceremonies, Sales and Industry Meetings, and Promotional Events as required. About You You are an experienced sales professional, ideally with a background in the glass or building industry (e.g., windows or showerscreens). You are a proven sales performer, able to deliver on set targets and influence buying decisions at every stage of the sales process. Your ability to build positive relationships, negotiate, and close deals is matched by your proactive approach to finding and developing new business. You will also demonstrate: A current unrestricted driver’s licence. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. A customer-centric mindset, focused on providing value-added solutions and exceptional service. Results orientation, with a focus on achieving KPIs and driving continuous improvement. Strong relationship-building, problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation skills. Effective time management and organisational skills. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment. Commitment to ethical conduct and alignment with company values.
