Job Description We are seeking a Principal Civil Engineer with 10 years’ experience to join our WA Civil team. The primary purpose of this position is to provide high level technical support and direction in relation to civil engineering services for projects including civil, structural, resources, geotechnical and other specialisations of engineering. You will be responsible for: Leading and approving associated technical work directly related to the discipline and in project management capacities Providing technical expertise and advice through all stages of the project lifecycle from feasibility studies, design strategies, construction to system integration and support Manage project work technically and contractually to ensure that it meets technical requirements Lead Quality Assurance, QA, and Quality Control, QC, of Civil design projects Review and sign off on engineering and technical outputs such as reports, engineering principles & studies to ensure compliance to relevant standard Delivery and coordination of projects and proposals Financial management of projects by monitoring the actual time and cost expended on the total project against the budget, informing client of any changes in scope of work or other causes of variances from project resources. Lead a team of engineers, providing technical advice and direction to all employee levels through technical challenges and issues. Participating in client management and business development. Contributing to the preparation and implementation of annual business plans, and monitor progress against targets Playing an active role in the business leadership group through regular meetings, workshops and training
