The successful applicant will join a multi-disciplinary team including a diagnostic imaging specialist, anaesthesiologist, two specialist surgeons, and a criticalist. The specialist hospital is purpose-built and well-equipped with advanced diagnostic imaging including on-site Siemens CT, digital radiography, fluoroscopy & ultrasound. An in-house IDEXX Lab, endoscopy, ventilators and more are also available, allowing the team to provide optimal care to patients. The hospital has dedicated wards for dogs, cats, surgery, infectious diseases and an ICU. The employer is willing to assist with a work permit (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
