Your Opportunity Are you ready to be a lifeline for people in crisis? As a Case Worker for our Emergency Relief team, you will help people in crisis access the essentials they need — food, housing, financial support — and connect them with services that can make a lasting difference. You’ll be the bridge between hardship and hope, supporting individuals to regain stability and wellbeing. Your key responsibilities will be to: Respond to referrals and conduct assessments for clients experiencing financial hardship Provide immediate support such as financial aid, food vouchers and other essentials to ease the crisis. Refer clients to services and programs that address deeper issues and promote long-term wellbeing. Support clients to set and pursue their own goals, fostering resilience and independence Maintain accurate, confidential case notes and follow safety protocols. Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders of the business and programs. Requirements for Success: Certificate III in Community Services or Financial capability qualifications with relevant experience, or other appropriate qualifications/experience. Experience and understanding in handling complex situations and working with individuals who may have experienced trauma. A genuine ability to connect with and support vulnerable individuals and families facing difficult times. Proven ability to build and maintain sustainable relationships with internal and external partners. Current First Aid and CPR Certificate Current NSW driver’s license. Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
